Tips on Hall Life
Overview
Residential Life
Student hall is a unique learning ground for enriching the life experience of its residents. It provides rare opportunities for you to cultivate friendships, learn about yourself, develop intellectual faculties and experience a true sense of community.

We need to be considerate, self-disciplined, and respectful of others in order to maintain a healthy study and living environment.

Hall life is both challenging and rewarding. The lessons that you learn and the relationships that you develop here could be some of the things that you'll treasure most for the rest of your life.

Please take a look at Tips on Hall Life which aims at helping you to make the most out of your residential experience.

Life in UG Halls
Student halls play a special role in your undergraduate education. By living together as a community under the guidance of the Hall Education Teams, comprising of Residence Masters, Learning Community Fellows, Residential Life Officers, Tutors and Learning Community Coordinators, you will have many opportunities to organize activities together, engage in discussions of various kinds, and share your lives in a meaningful way.

At the commencement of the residential year, Hall Orientation led by individual Residence Master is held for hall residents after check-in. It aims at helping new students know one another, know the “dos” and the “don’ts" of day-to-day living in hall, appreciate the educational value of hall life, understand the roles and responsibilities as hall residents and develop a sense of belonging to the hall.

Life in PG Halls – SKCC Hall and University Apartments
Campus living can be an enriching experience for postgraduate students. In addition to having easy access to academic and research facilities, the opportunities to interact with peers in a residential environment not only stimulates learning, but may also lead to lasting friendships and business associations. Residents can also learn to live harmoniously with fellow students from different cultures and backgrounds.
